What a day. Can I just say that? What a glorious day in Boston. Kerry and I arrived at the park around 9 and got the fancy schmantcy Fenway tour with the most lively guide the staff could offer. Come on, you beautiful people, right this way! Let's go now, you beautiful people, follow me! This guy was classic. Animated. Spitty. Severe Boston accent. Pretty much the best. On the last leg of the tour, he took us down to box seats, closest to 3rd base. It was at this time that I started freaking out, because it was beginning to set in that our seats for the game were in this very place. (Thank you, Kerry's fiance, for making our day). As you can see, we were on top of the visitor's dugout. I don't have to go into specifics about the game, other than the fact that this is my 2nd consecutive appearance at the park that resulted in a walk off homer. Papi, oh, Papi....what can I say? You simple rule.
