Finally, it is Dislodged!
A couple of weeks ago, when the Star Wars talk was all hot and heavy, I was racking my brain trying to bring a Jedi quote to the surface. I was able to start it: Oh, I'm afraid... was how it began, but I could only get as far as the first 3 words and they kept looping in my head to the point of utter annoyance. Back in the day, my good friend Lyn and I used to find a daily application for the quote when we roomed together our last year of college. This is the year that the television in our teeny apartment was constantly showcasing one of the trinity. The scene of the quote occurred during the big Luke and Darth battle at the end of the film.
Low and behold, in a correspondence with Lyn yesterday, I was able to complete it (naturally, she knows every Star Wars line ever written and performed).
(by the Emperor): "Oh, I'm afraid the deflector sheilds will be quite operational when your friends arrive..."
Wow, I feel better. Thanks, Lyn.
[Game starts in exactly 1 minute. I wrote GO SOX in huge red Sharpie on a Fed Ex package I just finished for a client in Chicago ... let's hope I don't have egg on my face when he opens it on Monday morning...]
